Our Own English High School-Sharjah Boys’ Branch recognises the importance of parents in the education process of students and thus develops and maintains a strong and transparent one to one relationship with them. Believing implicitly, that parents and teachers are partners in the educational process, the school invites parents to interact with the school in the following ways:
- Parent -Teacher Meetings which provide a venue for a better understanding of the child.
- Orientation programmes for various departments
- Meetings with the Principal / Section Heads / for discussions, whenever necessary
- Using the pupil’s diary as a communication link.
- Social opportunities for Parents at school events e.g. productions, sports fixtures etc.
- Regular updates through mentor system
- Helpline service for interested parents
- Parental involvement in career guidance
