| The School Library | The spacious school library which holds a panoramic view of the Sharjah University is stocked with periodicals, newspapers and an impressive index of titles, covering both fiction and non-fiction. These have been selected for the informative and educational value, catering to all age groups. Children are encouraged to make full use of these facilities in order to foster a healthy reading habit and satiate the inquisitive mind. The library is managed by highly qualified library personnel. In addition, the library also features an integrated audio visual suite with internet facility to compliment the research activities.

| Physics,Chemistry,Biology Labs | | To meet the requirements of our secondary and senior secondary students,state-of-the-art labs (for general science, math, physics, chemistry and biology) are provided with excellent equipment and facilities in a spacious and distinct set up, in concurrence with the CBSE norms. All of these labs have been set up in the basement for the convenience of students and the respective subject teachers.
ICT Laboratories

| The ICT Lab | Our Own English High School, Boys’ Branch supports 4 ICT laboratories, each equipped with computers and a number of peripherals, so that each student has a machine to himself. The laboratories are used to support the teaching of ICT, beginning as early as Grade 1. To keep our students abreast with the world around them, the school has inter-connected nodes with ISDN lines for Internet browsing.

| The school's Multi-purpose Hall | The school boasts a multi-purpose hall, used for all major school functions. The multi purpose hall provides an ideal space for school assemblies, events, productions, minor games and inter-school activities.
Audio-Visual Facilities
Our ICT labs are equipped with smart boards and LCD projectors. Each section (primary, middle, secondary and senior secondary ) has its own set of Mobile LCD Projectors. The teachers make extensive use of these mobile LCD projectors as teachings aids in the classrooms.
Our Audio-Visual Rooms are equipped with Televisions, DVD players, Over-Head Projector, Stereo Systems and an extensive collection of educational audio and video cassettes.

| The sports area | To encourage student interest in programmes of physical education, a range of sports facilities are available that include two basketball courts, a football field, a table tennis room, and a multi-purpose playground.
A new HUMAN PERFORMANCES LAB with various facilities of a gymnasium has been introduced with a view of canalizing the energy of the boys in the right direction.
Art Room
The school possesses an exclusive Art Room with a smart board and internet access where students are encouraged to explore their creative talents and showcase their creative expressions.
Music Hall
The well-equipped music room provides a variety of instruments including guitars, keyboards, drum sets, harmoniums and tabla for students inclined to both western and eastern music.

Books and Uniforms Store
The school houses a book store, which stocks prescribed text books, note books, stationery, and a range of miscellaneous items at a special price for the convenience of students. The Uniform store stocks prescribed school uniform and in order to maintain uniformity, parents are encouraged to make use of this facility.
Medicare
The school has a health unit, manned by qualified nurses and a visiting doctor. Students undergo regular medical check-ups and a health record is maintained for each child. While routine first aid is administered by the unit, any emergency is referred to the nearby Al Qassimi or Kuwait Hospital. | |
