Arab Innovation Centre for Education (A.I.C. E) Accelerator Programme is a GEMS EDUCATION initiative to encourage young innovators across GEMS schools. Team Vision Education was one of the top 10 finalists who got an opportunity to innovate and ideate this year. Our Own young innovators Ahsan Nayaz (11C) , Manas (11B) and Soham Chawda (11F) ideated product Vision Education , a new curriculum to change outdated education system which suits the needs of 21st century students. Vision provides a mobile application, which allows students learn at their own ease. Mobile application incorporates VR (virtual reality) videos to help students visualize and experience reality virtually and AI assistant to help teachers to keep a tab on student’s progress.
Team Vision received one month mentoring and attended two days Boot camp held at Al Barsha National School for Boys on 16th and 17th April. Boot Camp provided a very intuitive and comprehensive experience for the team. Speakers like Mr. Tiberiu ,Ms Helen ,Mr Pramod Dhalwani , Mr Daniel Sylester helped students to transform their project into product and prepared them for pitching their idea of startup to investors on Final Demo Day.
Following the Boot Camp and mentoring, Team Vision had to pitch their product to panel of judges on Demo Day conducted on April 29, 2018 at the Dubai Future Accelerators Auditorium. Team Vision displayed their Business Model, Marketing plan, Value proposition with an innovative presentation, and pitched in their integration of exponential technologies like Artificial intelligence, Virtual reality into education.
Team Vision was featured in Khaleej Times for their idea to update education system and prepare students for challenges of tomorrow..
This incredible journey came to an end on May 8th at Gems Innovation Awards Ceremony with Team Vison being one of the top 10 finalists , they received medals which marked them as budding entrepreneurs of A.I.C.E 2018.
