Our Own English High School Sharjah, Boys’ Branch has demonstrated its commitment to taking a whole-community approach to preparing its students to think critically and use technology responsibly to learn, create, and participate, while limiting the perils that exist in the online realm, such as plagiarism, loss of privacy, and cyberbullying. The recognition acknowledges our schools commitment creating a culture of digital citizenship.

Generation Global Outstanding Award

The participation of Our Own English Sharjah Boys’ in the Generation Global Video Conferences and Global chats with their global peers on various issues witnessed appreciation for our pupils’ excellent critical thinking, questioning, and reflection skills. A true demonstration of “Global Citizenship’ helped OOB achieve the Generation Global Outstanding Award.

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is an Indian education board that operates on the national level, providing articulated syllabi and curricula for public and private schools. The board is regulated by the Union Government of India.

The institution adheres to the CBSE curriculum throughout Grades 1 to 12. The National Council of Educational Research and Training, New Delhi (NCERT) is responsible for the conception of the CBSE curriculum. The hallmark of NCERT is its detailed research and development approaches that are constantly transitioning with trends in data. This is reflected in the enhanced and comprehensive curriculum that is administered from Grades 9 to 12.
