Guardians of the Galaxy Soar at Primary Sports Day

The atmosphere of our Primary Sports Day, celebrated on November 23, 2023, was set aglow from the very beginning. The day began with a warm welcome address by the Junior Head Boy, leading into the grandeur of the House March Past. Mr. Hande, our esteemed chief guest, a devoted parent, and a sports enthusiast, graced the occasion. The event continued with Mr. Srivalsan Murugan, our Principal and CEO, officially declaring the meet open. This was followed by the inspiring oath-taking ceremony led by the Junior Sports Captain. The tone for the day was harmoniously set with a delightful welcome song by our junior choir, paving the way for the much-anticipated grade-wise races.

Grades 1 to 3 engaged in thrilling themed races, embodying the spirit of the Guardians. In grades 1 and 2, the younger ones showcased a vibrant welcome drill echoing the theme, adding an extra layer of excitement. Additionally, the tribute paid to Sultan Al Neyadi and Hazza Al Mansori during the drill by grades 3 and 4 added a touch of inspiration and national pride to the event.

With the Junior Sports Day festivities reaching a crescendo, the March past house winner was declared – a resounding victory for Jupiter House. However, the pinnacle of achievement was awarded to Mars House, securing the coveted Overall Trophy. The Guardians of the Galaxy theme truly united our young stars in a celestial celebration of sportsmanship, teamwork, and triumph.
