A Note From The Founder

Dear Families,

We have always taken great pride in the close partnership between our teachers, parents and students. It is thanks to the strength of this collaboration that we are able to deliver the best possible learning experience, the best possible learning environment, and the best possible academic outcomes. We value the feedback of our school communities, and we act upon the feedback we receive.

The COVID-19 pandemic thrust us into an increasingly digital world, as our schools learnt to adapt to new challenges and find novel ways to engage students, inspiring them just as much from afar through technology as they do face-to-face in the classroom. While we will always assert that the best place for our learners is in school, we do also recognise the opportunities that the right use of technology affords. That is why we have long invested in digital solutions and platforms to enhance teaching and learning – and this will continue at pace.

Another hallmark of a GEMS education is our focus on values, which serve as a grounding anchor to all that we do. We place the greatest of importance on the simple, yet powerful human values of kindness, respect, empathy and compassion. We consider these crucial attributes that will equip our young people for the exciting yet challenging future that awaits them, enabling them to truly transform the world for the better as the change-makers they are.

And even after our students have graduated and gone on to higher education or entered the world of work, I assure you that GEMS will continue to act as a valuable support network, providing career, professional development, networking and mentoring opportunities, as well as so much more. Through our ever-expanding global GEMS Alumni network, we continue to assist and open doors for our students long after they have last set foot in school.

على مدى أكثر من ستة عقود في قطاع التعليم، وضعنا نصب أعيينا هدفاً واحداً وهو وضع التعليم عالي الجودة في متناول يد كل طالب وطالبة. وتحققت هذه المهمة عندما وصل والدَيّ لأول مرة إلى شواطئ دبي في عام 1959. واليوم يغمرنا شعور بالفخر والاعتزاز بما حققته مدارسنا من مستوى تعليم عالي، وإنجازات معلمينا والفرص العديدة المتاحة لطلابنا.

نحن على يقين بأن الالتحاق بأي مدرسة من مدارس مجموعة جيمس للتعليم هو قرار يتخذه جميع أولياء الأمور بدقة مع مراعاة مصالح أطفالهم الفضلى كأولية قصوى. يشرفنا أن يكون عدد كبير من الأسر قد اتخذوا هذا الخيار في عين الاعتبار ونحن ملتزمون بدعمهم كل يوم في مختلف مدارسنا. التعليم هو رحلة اكتشاف وتطوير الذات بالنسبة لطلابنا، ومعلمونا حريصون على تقديم الأفضل باستمرار.

نحن نفخر دائماً بالشراكة الوثيقة بين المعلمين وأولياء الأمور والطلاب. وبفضل أسس هذا التعاون المتينة، نستطيع تقديم أفضل تجربة تعليمية ممكنة وأفضل بيئة تعليمية ممكنة وأفضل النتائج الأكاديمية الممكنة. نؤكد لكم بأننا نثمن التعليقات والملاحظات التي تبديها مجتمعات مدارسنا ونأخذها بعين الاعتبار ونعمل بها.

دفعتنا جائحة كوفيد-19 للجوء إلى عالم رقمي بشكل كبير، حيث تعلمت مدارسنا التكيف مع التحديات الجديدة وإيجاد طرق مبتكرة لإشراك الطلاب وإلهامهم عن بعد من خلال التكنولوجيا كما يفعلون وجهاً لوجه في الفصل الدراسي. وفي الوقت الذي نؤكد فيه أن المكان الأمثل لطلابنا هو المدرسة، ندرك تماماً بأن هناك العديد من الفرص التي يوفرها الاستخدام الصحيح للتكنولوجيا. وقد استثمرنا منذ فترة طويلة في الحلول والمنصات الرقمية لتطوير أساليب التدريس والتعلم لتحقيق هذا الهدف، كما سنستمر بذلك بوتيرة سريعة.

ويعتبر تركيزنا على القيم التي تصب في جوهر عملنا أحد أبرز السمات التي تميز مجموعة جيمس للتعليم، فنحن نولي أهمية قصوى للقيم الإنسانية الأساسية وهي اللطف والاحترام والتعاطف والرحمة، ونعتبرها الركيزة التي ستساهم في تمكين شبابنا وتجهيزهم لغوض غمار المستقبل الشيق ومواجهة التحديات التي تنتظرهم، وبالتالي جعل عالمنا أفضل بصفتهم صانعي التغيير.

إيماناً منا بضرورة مواصلة دعم جميع طلابنا مدى الحياة، تستمر جيمس للتعليم في العمل كشبكة دعم لهم حتى بعد تخرجهم والتحاقهم بالجامعة أو سوق العمل، حيث توفر فرصاً فريدة للتطوير المهني والتواصل والتوجيه وغيرها، وذلك من خلال شبكة واسعة من الخريجين المنتشرين حول العالم.
