Geon Jibi

A calm, level-headed, and inspiring presence within the OOB community, Geon Jibi serves as the Sports Council Advisor, bringing together discipline, perspective, and a quietly influential leadership style. He firmly believes that challenges are not barriers but opportunities for growth, and he consistently leads by example—setting high personal standards while encouraging others to realise their potential in their own unique way. Composed yet energetic, Geon blends quick thinking, creativity and strong organization to guide his team while keeping things positive and motivating. He also brings a natural sense of humour, making it easier for people to feel comfortable and perform at their best. An accomplished swimmer, Geon is a state record holder in the 200m backstroke, a two-time CBSE Nationals bronze medalist and a two-time finalist at the Junior Nationals across the 100m and 200m backstroke as well as the 200m freestyle. Ranked among the top five swimmers in India and top two in the UAE, his achievements reflect his discipline, consistency and hard work. His involvement with the Swimming Federation of India through various competitions highlights his dedication to the sport. Beyond accolades, he is known for his ability to uplift those around him—offering guidance, support, and presence when it is needed most.
