Blueprints for Resilience 2024-25
On June 6th, our Grade 11 students participated in the "Blueprints for Resilience 2024-25" competition, themed "Creative Minds, Sustainable Solutions" at ASPAM Indian International School, Sharjah in conjunction with the World Environment Day. They presented a project, titled "XERON – Xenon Electric Reactive Optimization Node (Digital Design)," a groundbreaking model to attract lightning through a laser beam and convert it into electrical energy, offering a sustainable solution for wildfires in Indonesia which are caused by lightning. The team, comprising Parthasarathy Pramod, Shiv Shankar, Mohd Ayyan Zahir Mullaji, Sidhartha Prabhakar, Udaya Shankar Harikumar, and Pranav Prakash, earned the prestigious First runner-up position. Their innovative approach and dedication were highly praised by the Chief Guest, Habiba Al Mar'ashi, Co -founder and Chairperson of the Emirates Environmental Group (EEG), Dubai. The teacher mentor for the event was Ms. Vijayalakshmi Venugopal.
