Empowering Educators and Students on transformative AI

OOB team led by the Head of the Middle School, Ms. Bindu Gopalakrishnan, and staff members, Ms. Smitha Somarajan, Ms. Vijayalakshmi Venugopal, and Ms. Jasmine Mathew, along with 7 student representatives, attended the AI workshop hosted by Our Own High School, Al Warqa’a on 26th October , 2023 . The transformative AI Workshop was led by Mr. Ian Phillips and featured two distinct sessions: one tailored to students, focusing on raising their awareness of AI's contemporary significance, exploring potential careers, and presenting practical applications. The second session, designed exclusively for educators, equipped them with the knowledge of AI tools relevant to teaching. This interactive session spurred a discussion on various AI tools and provided practical insights into incorporating AI into teaching strategies. The workshop provided a valuable opportunity for both students and teachers to explore the potential of AI in education and helped foster a deeper understanding of how AI can enhance teaching and learning experiences.
