ANNUAL KINDERGARTEN SPORTS DAY 2023-2024

Kindergarteners demonstrated resilience at their ‘A Safari for a Greener Tomorrow’ Annual Sports Meet on 18 January 2024, at the OOB Soccer Field. The event, hosted by Kindergarteners, opened with the rendition of the UAE National anthem followed by a recitation of a verse from the holy Quran.

Ms. Chaya Mughal, a former cricketer and advocate for women's cricket, declared the Sports Meet open. Ms. Chaya Mughal, renowned for her cricket career and advocacy for women's cricket, officially inaugurated the Sports Meet. She imparted to our young athletes the essence of sportsmanship: it's not solely about victory but the fervor and commitment they bring to the field. She stressed that sports offer a journey of growth and memorable experiences beyond just scores. Following Ms. Mughal's inspiring words, Mr. Srivalsan Murugan, our Principal and CEO, delivered the opening address.

The highlight was the 'Kalari, Karate, and Gymnastics' presentation by KG 1 and KG 2 children, showcasing coordination and precision. KG1 races, such as the 'Bee Buzz Race' and 'The Giraffe Gallop Race', radiated pure joy, while 'The Drill - Bee the Change' exhibited impeccable posture and coordination. KG2 races, including the 'Jungle Jamboree Race' and 'Feed the Animals', heightened competition while maintaining precision. Additionally, a fusion dance performance by 51 students exuded vitality and energy. Track events featured 50m for KG1 and 80m for KG2 flat races.

The day concluded with a parent race and prize distribution, recognizing student achievements. The event emphasized teamwork, sportsmanship, and physical activity, fostering inclusivity and fulfillment.
