Champions of the 14th GEMS Modern Academy Shreyas Memorial Inter School Cricket Tournament

In a stunning match, our cricket team won against GEMS Modern Academy by 57 runs to lift the 14th GEMS Modern Academy Shreyas Memorial Inter School Cricket Tournament Cup. 

OOB put a target of 175 runs in 18 overs for the loss of 4 wickets. There were spectacular performances from our boys Madhav Manoj Nair (99 runs from 55 ) and Aliasgar (44 from 22 balls). 

In reply GMA scored only 118 in 18 overs for the loss of 8 wickets. Our boys were top in bowling leaded by Adwait Datta Sohani, a left arm spin bowler who grabbed 3 wickets, whilst Aliasgar took 2 wickets. Fadil Ahmed and Karan Dhiman took one wicket each.

Madhav Manoj took a stunning catch of GMA’s Shrey Sethi, who currently plays on the under 19 UAE national team. Adwaith Datta’s bowling was the game changing moment.

Madhav Manoj was awarded the Player of the Tournament, while Aliasgar was awarded Man of the Finals.
