Enlightened Path - In Conversation With Mr. George Abraham

The Literary Club of OOB organized yet another memorable ‘In Conversation With’ segment featuring the esteemed guest, Mr. George Abraham. The talk show was held in the presence of distinguished guests including Ms. Nargish Kambatta, Principal & CEO of GEMS Modern Academy and Senior Vice president - GEMS Education, Mr. Mohammed Ameen, Principal – Sharjah Indian School, Boys, our Principal & CEO, Mr. Srivalsan Murugan, Vice Principal, Ms. Sindhu P. Nair, Heads of Sections, Supervisors, Staff and students from the GEMS Millennium School, and The Emirates National School, Sharjah, teachers and students. Held at the school auditorium, the occasion aimed to celebrate Mr. Abraham's extraordinary achievements and inspirational journey, shedding light on his contributions to inclusive education and his unflinching dedication to working with visually impaired individuals.

An introductory video showcased Mr. George Abraham's remarkable life.  The hosts, Juan Mathew and Samford Sebin conducted an insightful interview with Mr. Abraham, exploring different aspects of his life and work where he shared his transition from advertising to working with the visually impaired, discussing the challenges he encountered while establishing blind cricket in India and how he overcame them.  The conversation also covered his experiences as an inspirational speaker and his techniques for tailoring messages to different audiences.  Mr. Abraham showcased his musical prowess by playing a small snippet on the guitar, captivating the audience with his talent. 

The event concluded with a renewed sense of inspiration and a shared commitment to creating an inclusive and compassionate society. The attendees departed with a profound appreciation for Mr. George Abraham's transformative work and a determination to follow in his footsteps. The event's success serves as a testament to the vibrant and nurturing community at OOB.
