ASSET 2021-22

Our Own English High School, Sharjah – Boys on conducting ‘Assessment of Scholastic Skills through Educational Testing’ (ASSET) is ranked amongst the top 20 performing schools for the academic year 2021-22.

The comparative data of the school's performance based on benchmarking and year-on-year analysis points out that the performance of classes 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, and 9 has been better than the overall average range in all participated subjects.

With a total of 660 students from the school among the top performers, 53 students emerged with an ‘Outstanding’ performance, 211 students at a ‘Distinguished’ level, and 396 students are rated at the ‘Creditable’ level. 462 students from grades 5 to 8 have qualified for the Ei ASSET Talent Search (Ei ATS) 2022 assessment. These students have competed against all ASSET-taking students across UAE and scored in the top 15%. Ei ASSET Talent Search (Ei ATS) is a talent identification assessment that helps students discover their hidden academic potential. Students compete with their high-performing peers and get an insight into where they stand among them, and measure their readiness for greater academic challenges.

Two students from OOB, Jeon Johnson of Grade 9 and Jershom Renjith Crown of Grade 5, who have emerged as the UAE toppers in English and Science, respectively, were chosen for the elite Ei ASSET AWARDS 2022.
