Flag Day

‘Raise it high, Raise it proud’. The UAE Flag, a symbol of pride, loyalty and belonging was raised with ceremonial zeal and gusto at Our Own English High School , Sharjah ( Boys’) on November 3 ,2022 coinciding with the Flag Day celebrations  being held across the country. At the stroke of 11 a m , the  Principal  & CEO , Mr. Srivalsan Murugan hoisted the National Flag in the presence of the Senior Leadership and Management team , administration staff  and student leaders  followed by the rendition of the National Anthem. The event was followed by a celebration of Emirati culture and fellowship. On this day, the significance of the occasion and the features of the UAE flag was reiterated across classrooms through varied activities.
