SASTRA PRATIBHA CONTEST 2021

Sastra Prathibha Contest (SPC) is a national science talent search contest for students studying in UAE guided by VIBHA (Vijnana Bharti) in collaboration with NCERT, Ministry of Human Resources and Development and Vigyan Prasar, that aims to popularise Science among V to XII grade students of Indian curriculum. SPC aims to identify & nurture bright minds to pursue science related subjects in higher studies.

SPC-2020 is held as a three levels contest to select sixteen Sastra Pratibhas, two each from grade V to XII, of which the first two levels are home based online MCQ examination & the third level, a viva-voce of those students who have qualified the first two levels of contest.

A total of 82 students participated in this prestigious contest across the grades 5-12. All the students were given the participation certificate. Out of the 82 students that took part in the SPC contest, 40 students were qualified for the Intermediate level and they were felicitated with the Certificate of Excellence. Six meritorious students got qualified for the Advanced level and they were credited with the Certificate of Merit. The list of students who were qualified for the advanced level is listed below:

Shubhankar Ghosh of grade 12 B is declared the proud winner of Sashtra Prathibha Contest 2021. The title Winner of the SPC and the five meritorious students were felicitated on Friday, 24th June, 2022 between 5:00pm to 7:30pm at the Indian Consulate Auditorium, Dubai. HE Consul Education, Consulate of India, Dubai was the chief guest of the day. A total of 102 schools from the different emirates of UAE participated in the event. 22 Schools were from the emirate of Sharjah which comprised 1150 students in total. SPC declared the names of 16 winners all over UAE.
