Veritas – Farewell Ceremony: Class of 2026

29 Jan 2026

On 29th January, the Sheikh Zayed Multipurpose Hall resonated with emotions, memories, and hope as the school came together to bid farewell to the Class of 2026. It was an afternoon that gently balanced celebration with nostalgia, marking the close of one meaningful chapter and the hopeful opening of many more.

The ceremony brought together the Honourable Principal & CEO, Mr. Srivalsan Murugan, Vice Principal Ms. Sindhu P. Nair, Heads of Sections, supervisors, teachers, and proud parents, along with the true focus of the day. These graduating students were celebrated with immense pride and affection.

Formally declaring the ceremony open, Mr. Srivalsan Murugan addressed the audience with words that were both inspiring and reassuring. He spoke of perseverance, character, and purpose, and expressed immense pride in the Class of 2026's journey and achievements.

One of the most moving segments of the afternoon was the felicitation ceremony. Student leaders—including Student Council office bearers, House Captains, Senior Prefects, and Council Members—were honoured for their service and commitment, followed by the class-wise felicitation of all Grade 12 students. As certificates were presented and alumni status conferred, the hall echoed with applause that reflected years of hard work, growth, and shared memories.

A special moment of pride came with the announcement of the Valedictorian, Samford Sebin, Head Boy of the school. Recognised for his academic excellence, integrity, and compassionate leadership, his valedictory address captured the spirit of the batch—reflective, grateful, and hopeful—leaving a lasting impression on everyone present.

Ms. Radhika Misra, the Teacher Representative, spoke on behalf of the faculty, reminding students that they would always remain a part of the school family. This was followed by an address from the President of the Student Council, Mohammed Ayaan, who expressed heartfelt gratitude to teachers, parents, and peers for their unwavering support.

More than a formal farewell, the ceremony became a celebration of friendships forged, challenges overcome, and dreams nurtured. As the Class of 2026 steps into the world beyond school, they carry with them not just knowledge, but values, memories, and a sense of belonging that will always tie them back to their alma mater. The school wishes each graduate courage, clarity, and success in every path they choose to follow.
