Report on the 39th Piyush-Ebin Sam Inter School Soccer Tournament 2025

The 39th Piyush–Ebin Sam Inter School Soccer Tournament (2025–26) was held from 6th to 13th November 2025, at the Our Own Boys’ Sharjah Football Ground, bringing together talented young footballers from 15 schools across the UAE. Conducted in a knockout format, the tournament showcased exceptional skill, discipline, and determination.

The event was inaugurated by our esteemed Principal and CEO, Mr. Srivalsan Murugan, whose unwavering commitment to promoting sportsmanship and holistic development set an inspiring tone for the tournament. Throughout the week, spectators witnessed compelling moments of strategy, teamwork, and individual brilliance that elevated the competition to an unforgettable sporting spectacle.

The grand finale was graced by Dr Muhammed Basheer, a former Indian footballer and Specialist Paediatrician at NMC Medical Centre, Sharjah, for the past 35 years. In a tense and exhilarating match, Our Own School, Al Warqa’a, clinched victory over Delhi Private School, Dubai with a decisive 1–0 win. Awards for Best Goalkeeper, Top Scorer, and Best Player were presented to outstanding athletes whose performances illuminated the field. The Fair Play and Equitable Conduct Trophy was deservedly awarded to Sharjah Indian School, Juwaizah.

Special commendation goes to Mr Vipin Madathil, Head of Senior Section, for his exemplary leadership and coordination, and to Mr Joepaul and the Physical Education Department for their dedication and tireless efforts. The 39th edition of this tournament stands as a testament to the spirit of unity, competition, and excellence.
