Oh, the Places You’ll Go: Primary Sports Day 2025-26
Primary Sports Day was celebrated on 13 and 14 January 2026, with Grades 3 and 4 participating on the first day and Grades 1 and 2 on the second. The event witnessed 100 percent student participation. This year’s theme, inspired by Dr. Seuss’s book Oh, the Places You’ll Go, encouraged students to embrace determination, teamwork, and the joy of discovering new possibilities. Each day began with the National Anthem of the U.A.E., followed by a recitation from the Holy Quran, a welcome address by the Head Boy, the inaugural March Past, and the oath taking ceremony. The Chief Guest, Mr. Vishnu Sukumaran, a cricketer representing the UAE in ODIs and T20s, delivered an encouraging address, followed by a motivating speech by the Principal.
Students were at the heart of the celebrations, displaying energy, confidence, and sportsmanship through races, relays, agility challenges, themed races, and drills. The choir performed Come Alive by Ahmed Chawki, and the special performance The Mighty Marchers added excitement and vibrancy to the event. Parents and teachers also participated enthusiastically, contributing to a lively and memorable atmosphere on both days.
The celebrations concluded with prize distribution for all events. Neptune House emerged as the March Past winner, while Mars House was declared the Overall Champion. Primary Sports Day was a joyful and inspiring celebration of achievement, teamwork, and perseverance, leaving lasting memories as students continue their journey of learning, growth, and discovery.
