Generation Global: Igniting Minds

The first-generation Global Video Conference for the academic year 2025–26 on the topic of “Education” was held on 21st January from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. in the Islamic Room. Under the guidance of facilitator Ms. Priskila Gita from Indonesia, participating schools from the Philippines, Italy, Indonesia, and India, along with students from OOB, came together for this global exchange.

During the conference, students shared their opinions about education and the education systems in their countries, engaging in discussions on topics such as human rights, knowledge and skills, values, and curriculum. Throughout the session, their enthusiasm, curiosity, and respect shone through as they confidently articulated their thoughts, fostering a rich and engaging dialogue.

Following these discussions, a question-and-answer session allowed students to clarify their queries, share insights, and gain an enriching experience. This interactive session further strengthened their understanding and encouraged a deeper connection among the participants.

The conference, focusing on education, served as an ideal platform for exploring the vital role of education in fostering global citizenship.
