FLAVOURS OF FAMILY: A CELEBRATION OF HERITAGE AND TOGETHERNESS
The Primary Department was filled with joy and togetherness on Thursday, 15th May 2025, as students and their families gathered in the school MPH to celebrate the International Day of Families. The event, titled “Cooking Without Fire,” offered a special opportunity for families to connect over culture and cuisine, preparing simple no-cook dishes that reflected their unique backgrounds and traditions.
The school auditorium was transformed into a vibrant cultural showcase, where parents and children worked side by side, sharing beloved recipes and heartfelt stories from their heritage. Each table became a window into a family's world—offering everything from traditional snacks to modern favorites, all prepared without fire but with an abundance of love. The atmosphere was festive and warm, embodying the true spirit of family bonding.
As the event came to a close, the smiles on every face reflected the success of this meaningful morning. “Cooking Without Fire” was more than just a culinary activity; it was a celebration of love, unity, and shared identity. The Primary Department’s initiative reminded everyone that family traditions, however simple, have the power to bring us closer and leave lasting memories.
