EMBRACING THE LEADER WITHIN: PRIMARY PREFECTS’ INVESTITURE

The spirit of leadership took center stage at OOB’s Primary Prefects’ Investiture Ceremony held on 14th May 2025, under the inspiring theme “There is a Leader in Us All.” The event marked the official appointment of the new student leaders, who stood proudly as they received their badges in the presence of their peers, teachers, and proud parents. In his address, Principal and CEO Mr. Srivalsan Murugan shared a motivating message, drawing inspiration from the car brand BYD, which stands for Build Your Dreams, encouraging students to pursue their aspirations with courage and commitment.

The ceremony featured a heartfelt speech by Head Boy Yamin Amaan, who spoke about the true meaning of leadership, emphasizing service, unity, and leading by example. His words resonated deeply with the audience, setting a tone of responsibility and inspiration for the academic year ahead. The moment was a proud one for all the newly elected prefects, who stood as symbols of trust and hope within the school community.

Bringing the ceremony to a close, Primary Sports Captain Hadi Muhammed delivered a warm and gracious vote of thanks, expressing appreciation to the Principal, teachers, and parents for their unwavering support. With their roles officially begun, the student leaders are now set to embark on a journey of purpose, ready to lead with integrity, empathy, and the courage to build their dreams.
