Shastra Pratibha Contest

As winners of the prestigious Shastra Pratibha Contest, Aditya Rajesh of Grade 11A and Arnesh Sinha of Grade 9, along with 11 other selected winners from across the UAE, had the privilege of participating in a 3-day educational tour to Pune, India, organized and sponsored by Science India Forum UAE. The program offered the students an invaluable opportunity to explore India’s premier scientific and research institutions. They visited IISER Pune (Indian Institute of Science Education and Research), experienced a guided lab tour and interactions with scientists at CSIR–NCL (National Chemical Laboratory), and attended an interactive session with researchers at ICMR–NIV (National Institute of Virology). The group also toured IITM (Indian Institute of Tropical Meteorology), where they witnessed the working of India’s only dedicated scientific supercomputing facility. Additionally, they had meaningful interactions with scientists and the Vibha Pune executive team in the presence of Dr. Shekhar Mande and the National President of Vijnana Bharati. The tour concluded with visits to Shivsrushti (Shivaji Maharaj Museum & Experience Centre) and IUCAA (Inter-University Centre for Astronomy and Astrophysics), giving students holistic exposure to India’s scientific excellence and cultural legacy.
